I want to write poetry about a scintillating breeze but all I see are bits and pieces of humanity scattered here and there, and then out of nowhere I see this post, shaking hands with me...probably it's not just me who can't write about birds, while the sky is caged!

So incredibly powerful. I find poetry helps me to make sense of so much that I do not understand about humanity. Or at the very least, a form to rest my burdens and curiosities.
Your words "while the sky is caged" - absolutely thought-provoking turn of phrase; yes, I understand how it is difficult to write poetry right now, with this horror in Gaza.
