SOL#DAY 11- The bridges that are burned!

Updated: Mar 18

It's not often that someone asks me for a helping hand or approaches me, and I don't rush towards them like a greenhorn doe, because I am (was) too naive for this knotty world.

Why would you want others to shine in your darkness, while you blow the candle when they are in pitch gloom?

Why would you expect a thunderous response, for all they got was the blurring crickets when all around them was a floating grief?

I want to ask you, is this being selfish, or selfless?

Not sure at times.

But one thing is sure: the new me is not swimming oceans to see ya when all you could do was burn the bridge!

SOL#Day 31-Think about this...

Mike came running to his home, his mom smiled, and passed him a flying kiss, he caught it like a real gentleman, acknowledging and bending with a bow. Suddenly, there is a sound as if lions are roarin

Wow, so much poetry in your words. "green horn doe, because I am (was) too naive for this knotty world." and this question: "Why would you want others to shine in your darkness, while you blow the candle when they are in pitch gloom?" I really like this. Selfless or selfish? Another good question.
