The break got over in a whiff of fresh air, and here I need to be back to my class room. Contemplating on what is that drives me to be an educator.
Well, it's my fifth and sixth graders, their endless questions, multiple queries, hilarious jokes, cute faces when they want an extension, and so much more. I think its the passion to share something worthwhile with these dazzling kids that gives me the energy to deal with different challenges, each day.
Whatever my mood be, as soon as I enter my classroom, I don't know but all my thoughts are channelized towards my learners.
So this little break gave me the time to rethink all the strategies I can try to support my kids to be the best version of themselves. Also, I now know why teaching is my true calling.
Our spring break is still two weeks away - to be going back on Monday feels so early. I hope you were able to recharge for those fifth and sixth graders and alllll of their energy; those questions and bright spirits are no joke! Best wishes for a good first week back.
