The hustle and bustle of Sunday mornings are different when it's not a weekend. I teach in Saudi Arabia, and Sunday is the first day of the week, and most long too.
But today was contrasting. If you have a passion for reading like the old school way ( the ones who love the smell of paper) you would know why it was.
We have a week-long book fair, and today we got our readers to explore it, read blurbs, along with fun stalls, and other activities. My readers were lost in bookland, it was joyous to see them so deeply engrossed.
Well, the part that interested me the most was the BOOK THRIFT, a place for old books ( quite reasonable and the collection was vast.
Used books seem to tell two stories one by the writer, and the other by the reader, before you. Isn't it?
